Technologies in use

Silicio Productions, the trade name of a project operating from Mexico, uses a cookie to remember the language and, when the notice is enabled, local storage to remember its closure. These technologies are separate from the temporary video playback state.

Language cookie: silicio_locale

This first-party cookie stores es or en when you manually choose a language. Its configured lifetime is 365 days from each selection. It applies to the same host and across the website through Path=/; it uses SameSite=Lax and Secure when the connection is HTTPS.

You can change the preference with the selector or delete the cookie using your browser's controls. Without a stored preference, neutral routes use the browser's language preferences. Routes that already include /es or /en keep the language indicated by their address.

Notice closure: silicio_notice_ack_v1

When the informational notice is enabled, the GOT IT button stores the value acknowledged in localStorage under silicio_notice_ack_v1. It remembers that you closed the notice, not that you read the policy. Closure does not imply consent to advertising or analytics.

This storage has no programmed expiry and remains while neither the user nor the browser removes the site's data. Its scope is the same origin —protocol, host and port— and browser profile, shared between the Spanish and English pages. It is not automatically shared with other devices or origins.

You can remove it through your browser's site-data controls; the enabled notice may appear again when you reload the page. The marker contains no personal identifier and is not automatically sent with HTTP requests. If storage is blocked or unavailable, closure is remembered only within the current document.

Temporary video state

The Home introduction uses a video file hosted on the website itself. Its playback state is kept temporarily in memory; it does not use a cookie or sessionStorage to remember it. That state does not persist when a new document loads.

Analytics, advertising and external services

No integrated advertising or analytics tools or embedded external players have currently been identified. Vercel Web Analytics is not enabled and Speed Insights is not configured. This does not exclude the hosting service's processing of technical logs to deliver and protect the website.

Links to YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Ruido Bandido lead to external services. Their technologies and policies apply to those services when you visit them.
